Hey everyone! My name is Erica and Im your typical teenaged girl... but has a big heart and big dreams! Music and performing is my life and I do as much that is offered to me. I fully take advantage of EVERYTHING my school has to offer involving the performing arts and music. I am a member of my schools drama department, senior choir, show/select choir, and everyday I help out with the younger choirs of the 5th and 6th graders. My main focus however is the competitive show/select choir. This group is made up of an alete group of singers who can dance as well. We travel to competitions, such as Six flaggs New England's Music In the Park's Festival. Our middle school show choir took home 2 titles, being Best Show Choir and Best over all choir. We, the FMS choir are all proud to say that ALL of our dedication has paid off, and was examplified in being the only school (including many high schools) to be scored a superior rating (9.4!). I was going to be showcased in my schools upcoming cabaret, but unfortuantely not enough faculty registered to volunteer. Music is not only my life, but it is also my outlet. Writing, singing, and performing is what has kept me sane for the last several months because my life has been the deffinition of a rollercoaster ride, only emotionally. My music is what calms me down and makes me, me. It is something I have always loved doing since I was a 2 year old girl dancing and singing to the tunes of Barney and Friends... to the 13 year old girl I currently am, mastering harmonies to challenging 4part choral arrangements.

Personal Interests:
Everything that is fun and worth while in the end! Im a bubbly energetic girl that loves to have fun. But I also love to work, and if this work becomes fun.... Then that only makes it better. I love singing and dancing because theres always a new challenge. Theres always a new note to get in your range... or a new mover to perfect. I also play soccer in the little spare time I have between choir rehearsals. Of course me being a teenaged girl, one of my personal interests includes having a good time with all of my friends. Sleepovers, shopping, anything to get out and have fun with my girls who have practically become my sisters. Obviously, I love to put all the energy I have bottled up inside to good use... and I do so often!!

My Goals for Performing:
I want music and acting to not only be a hobby... but to be my occupation. I would love to pursue a career on broadway. Also, a television career would just be amazingly wonderful (disney would be my dream become reality). My ultimate dream however would be to become a recording artist and cut demos and records. Touring to me would be the ultimate lifestyle, and a way for me to prove to everyone that has ever tried to bring me down or make me feel inferior that I'm not just an underdog. A way for me to prove to myslf that Im good enough to do whatever I really work at and put my mind to. Im not going to give up, no matter what happens because all I know is music. And theres no way I'm EVER going to give up on it! And theres no way Im EVER going to give up on my dreams... because if you really think about it.... If we dont haveour dreams what do we really have??
